La Sublevación de Jaca del 12 de diciembre de 1930 fue un pronunciamiento militar contra la Monarquía de Alfonso XIII durante la "Dictablanda" del general Berenguer. Aunque fue sofocada y fueron fusilados los capitanes Fermín Galán Rodríguez y Ángel García Hernández sus efectos se dejaron sentir en la proclamación de la Segunda República Española cuatro meses después.
Se inicia con la proclamación de la República desde los balcones del ayuntamiento de Jaca con el nombramiento de la primera alcaldía republicana como símbolo de su carácter estrictamente civil. Al mismo tiempo se organizan dos columnas dirigidas por el capitán Galán y Sediles que parten hacia Huesca.
