El Área metropolitana de Valencia conforma una red urbana organizada en torno a la costa central Comunidad Valenciana, y más concretamente alrededor de la ciudad principal de Valencia. Se trata de la tercera aglomeración en número de habitantes de España, con 1.581.057 de habitantes, aunque oficialmente la comarca de la Huerta de Valencia es el área metropolitana real, existen diferentes estudios cuyos resultados varían.
