El Iglesia vieja de Petäjävesi es una iglesia luterana finlandesa inscrita en la lista del patrimonio de la Humanidad de la Unesco desde 1994. Situada en el municipio de Petäjävesi , la iglesia se encuentra a 31 kilómetros al oeste de Jyväskylä. Fue construida por el maestro-carpintero Jaakko Klementinpoika Leppänen entre 1763 y 1765. Su estructura básica sigue un plan en cruz griega de brazos iguales, coronada por una cúpula octogonal. El conjunto del edificio se hizo enteramente de pino natural, con solamente un poco de color rojo-ocre en sus bóvedas interiores, según una tradición medieval. Las bóvedas tienen grabadas las iniciales de los carpinteros que participan en su construcción.
