La Basílica del Sagrado Corazón de Montmartre es un basílica menor, y templo expiatorio y santuario de adoración eucarística, situado en la colina de Montmartre, en Clignancourt, XVIII distrito de París.
Su construcción fue decidida por la Asamblea Nacional en 1873, como un edificio religioso a perpetuidad en homenaje a la memoria de los numerosos ciudadanos franceses que habían perdido la vida durante la Guerra franco-prusiana,[1] pero sus promotores fueron acusados desde sus inicios de levantarlo también para expiar los pecados de la Comuna de París.[2]
