El Museo Pirenaico de Lourdes es un museo dedicado a los Pirineos en todos sus aspectos, establecido desde 1921 en el castillo fortificado de Lourdes.
El castillo fortificado se encuentra en una ubicación estratégica para supervisar los 7 valles de Lavedan. El origen es muy antiguo, ya que fue un lugar de ocupación romana, y la leyenda habla de un asedio por parte de Carlomagno, pero los restos visibles más antiguos son los cimientos, que datan de los siglos XI y XII. Fortificado en los siglos XIII y XIV, cuando se erigió el masivo torreón. El desarrollo continuó desde el siglo XVII hasta el XIX. El castillo está clasificado como Monumento Histórico.
