Céreste es una población y comuna francesa, situada en la región de Provenza-Alpes-Costa Azul, departamento de Alpes de Alta Provenza, en el distrito de Forcalquier y cantón de Reillanne.
Un asentamiento de la época galo-romana se estableció en lo que hoy en día es el Priorato de Saint-Sauveur, posiblemente como un punto estratégico para controlar el paso del río.[3] Entre las reliquias que trascendieron en la época romana se encuentran un horno de alfarero, una antigua tumba y sarcófagos en Saint -Sauveur.
