Lamotte-Beuvron es una comuna francesa situada en el departamento de Loir y Cher, en la región de Centro-Valle del Loira.No sabemos nada del castillo primitivo construido sobre el terrón feudal. La fortaleza medieval al que ha sucedido él es rehecha en el siglo XIV. Es afeitada en el siglo XVII, cuando su propietario arzobispo de Bourges Anne de Lévis de Ventadour decide hacer construir un castillo de recreo en su emplazamiento.
