El Étang de Montady es un estanque o laguna drenada, o más precisamente un antiguo humedal de agua dulce, ubicado cerca de Montady y Colombiers, a medio camino entre Béziers y Narbona en el departamento occidental de Hérault en el sur de Francia.
Popularmente se cree que fue "construido por los visigodos", el Étang de Montady fue de hecho construido por monjes y ricos terratenientes de Béziers durante la segunda mitad del siglo XIII después de una autorización de 1247 por parte del arzobispo de Narbona. Las fechas exactas en las que comenzó o terminó la obra no están claras, pero el paisaje tal como existe hoy fue completado en 1268.
