Esta iglesia, dedicada a San Martín (patrón de los soldados), fue construida en el siglo XII y ampliada en el XVI.
Podrá admirar su portal renacentista con sus estatuas policromadas, en particular
Sainte Catherine (siglo XV) y La Pèlerine (siglo XVI).
Pero lo que la hace tan excepcional es su decoración interior... En 1630, Bouthillier de Chavigny y su esposa, Marie de Bragelogne, Señores de Pont, encargaron a su amigo Philippe de Champaigne la decoración de la iglesia. Este último encargó a un joven alumno de Simon Vouet, Eustache Lesueur, que pintara los magníficos frescos que adornan la iglesia.
Las estatuas, las vidrieras y los magníficos trabajos en madera también tienen su propia historia. Venga a descubrirlos...
