Bordeada por tamariscos y pinos, la playa ofrece una impresionante vista panorámica de la bahía de Arcachon. Al ritmo de las mareas, varíe los placeres: nadar, relajarse en la arena, pasear,... y aproveche las instalaciones a su disposición: parques infantiles y áreas de picnic, bar de refrescos, alquiler de palas...
Este sitio es también un lugar conocido para el kitesurf: ¡un espectáculo garantizado!
La playa de La Hume cuenta con la etiqueta "Handiplage level 2" desde 2008, y ofrece instalaciones adaptadas para personas con movilidad reducida (aparcamiento, tiralo, duchas).
