El proyecto de los Jardines Zig-Zag, unos jardines acondicionados al estilo de la Edad media. Varios elementos empleados en los jardines provienen del tiempo de Carlomagno, particularmente la elección de las plantas y la división de los jardines según su función. El Capitular de Villis, promulgado por Carlomagno hacia el año 812, es un acto legislativo sobre todo conocido por los 94 árboles, las verduras y las plantas que debían ser cultivadas en los jardines del reino. Esta lista, poco conocida en nuestros días, cambió profundamente la organización de los jardines medievales. Los Jardines del Senescal constituyen un viaje hacia el sXIII por un laberinto basado en el camino de peregrinación.
