Cruzando un pequeño puente que atraviesa los fosos del castillo, el visitante accede al jardín del Renacimiento.
Fue diseñado por Lancelot II del Lago a su regreso de un viaje a Italia a finales del siglo XVI. Después de un periodo caracterizado por el abandono, se ha recuperado respetando la planificación general que marcaban los cánones de la época.
El jardín está compuesto por seis arriates y delimitado en tres de sus flancos por dos grandes cenadores cubiertos de madreselvas, rosales, viña y lúpulos, y una avenida abovedada de carpes.
También se han recuperado dos espacios cuadrados de huerto delimitados por árboles frutales. Frente al ala sur del castillo se abre un parque paisajístico de dos hectáreas rediseñado para que resulte un placer para el visitante. De 1500 a 1530, Lanc
