En el Val de Guéblange, en Audviller, se alza una magnífica mansión construida en 1738. Es el único ejemplo fiel de la arquitectura de entramado de madera del siglo XVIII. Con 10 salas de estar y la cocina, conserva toda su distribución original.
La vida, el trabajo, la profesión y la inversión de 10 generaciones que se han sucedido bajo su techo han dejado huellas palpables.
La lectura de estas huellas visibles lo convierte en una magnífica herramienta educativa donde el visitante puede tocar la piel de los actores de casi 3 siglos de historia.
Así, esta casa vio vivir y crecer a Léo Closset, agente secreto de las Fuerzas Francesas Libres, luchador por la libertad, héroe militar del Val de Guéblange que cayó en Indochina en 1948. Todavía no tenía 32 años.
