Estudiado al mismo tiempo que los fuertes de Bonnelle, Peigney, Buzon, Fourches y Brevoines, su construcción no pasó de ser un proyecto. Durante la guerra de 1870-71, se realizaron aquí movimientos de tierra, creando un lugar para la artillería y una sucesión de fosos de protección. Originalmente se diseñó para albergar a 120 hombres. Modificado en 1873 como anexo al fuerte de Bonnelle, hoy sólo quedan los movimientos de tierra en un prado.
