Situada entre Auch e Isle-Jourdain, Gimont es una bastida llena de encanto.
Muy conocido por sus mercados de grasa asociados a la cocción de un buen foie gras y otros productos derivados del pato, este rincón del Gers posee también un patrimonio natural muy agradable.
Descubrir los valles del Gers durante una excursión o en el camino de Santiago de Compostela, pescar en uno de los dos lagos (2ª categoría), jugar un partido de tenis o de petanca, he aquí un abanico de actividades de las que podrá disfrutar.
El lago de Cahuzac de Gimont también es famoso por su zona reservada para autocaravanas. Una autocaravana "Borne Cathare" le permitirá instalarse cómodamente a orillas del lago.
