Situado en la Abadía Saint-Pierre de Vertheuil, único e inesperado en este lugar, el pequeño museo de autómatas presenta algunas escenas de la vida cotidiana esbozadas con humor y poesía. Aquí, son los animales los que se imaginan en el lugar de los humanos....
La abadía, fundada en el siglo XI por Guillermo VIII de Aquitania, albergó en el siglo XII una comunidad bajo la orden de San Agustín. Varias veces devastada (Guerra de los Cien Años, Guerras de Religión), fue reconstruida en el siglo XVIII y vendida en 1792 como propiedad nacional. Exposición de verano de varias obras.
