Este paseo se trazó en 1995 siguiendo el concepto de "Jardin en Mouvement" del paisajista Gilles Clément. Esta práctica preconiza la conservación de las especies que decidieron su emplazamiento: "Hacer lo más posible con, lo menos posible contra". El Jardin en Mouvement toma su nombre del movimiento físico de las especies vegetales, que el jardinero interpreta a su antojo. Cuando brotan flores en un pasillo, el jardinero tiene que decidir si se queda con el pasillo o con las flores.
Situados entre el río Vienne y la carretera departamental nº 32, los prados de flores se extienden por casi 5 hectáreas.
