The Crystal Palace fue una edificación de hierro fundido y cristal construida en el Hyde Park, en Londres, con motivo de la Gran Exposición mundial de 1851. Su planta, formado por la nave principal y galerías longitudinales, medía 563,25 m x 124,35 m.[1]
Luego de la exposición, el edificio fue trasladado a un distrito contiguo en el sur de Londres donde permaneció desde 1854 hasta su destrucción en un incendio el 30 de noviembre de 1936.
