Chichester es una pequeña ciudad situada en el sur de Inglaterra. Su población, según el censo de 2001, es de 23 731 habitantes.[1] Tiene una superficie de 10,67 km².[1] Es la capital del condado de West Sussex.
El monumento más famoso de Chichester es su catedral, una de las más famosas del Reino Unido, que data del año 1075. En ella está enterrado San Ricardo de Chichester, que fue obispo de la ciudad. Desde la época normanda es una importante sede episcopal.
