La Iglesia Catedral de Cristo, la Virgen María y San Cutberto ,[2] generalmente conocida como la Catedral de Durham[3][4][5] es una catedral que se encuentra en la ciudad de Durham, en el norte de Inglaterra . Es la sede del obispo de Durham, el cuarto obispo en rango en la jerarquía de la Iglesia de Inglaterra. La actual catedral fue empezada en 1093, reemplazando a la «iglesia blanca» sajona, y está considerada uno de los mejores ejemplos de arquitectura normanda en Europa.[6] Sigue siendo un importante centro religioso hoy en día. Es la sede del Santuario de san Cutberto.[7]
