Barcombe es una aldea de East Sussex situada a unas 4-5 millas al norte de Lewes. Es más ampliamente una parroquia civil en el distrito de Lewes de East Sussex. Barcombe en sí es el más antiguo de los tres asentamientos de la parroquia; Barcombe Cross es mucho más poblado y el principal centro con las comodidades y servicios, donde los aldeanos evacuaron durante la peste medieval, la Muerte Negra; y este último tiene un cerca puesto militar al norte de Barcombe Mills en el río Ouse. Las aldeas son Spithurst al noreste y Town Littleworth al noroeste.
Barcombe Cross es conocida como Barcombe en la zona local y está señalizada como tal, siendo el único Área Urbanizada definida por el gobierno. Solo en los mapas se muestra con su nombre completo.
