La primera estación en Callander fue un terminal inaugurado por el Ferrocarril de Dunblane, Doune y Callander el 1 de julio de 1858. Se cerró el 1 de junio de 1870 cuando se abrió la segunda estación junto con la primera sección del Ferrocarril de Callander y Oban, entre Callander y Glenoglehead. La estación terminal original del Ferrocarril de Dunblane, Doune y Callander se convirtió en un patio de mercancías.
