Este es el lugar donde supuestamente se encontraba el Coloso de Rodas. Era una estatua del dios griego Helios, erigida entre 292 y 280 a.C. Se considera una de las siete maravillas del mundo antiguo. Con una altura de más de 30 metros, era una de las estatuas más altas de la antigüedad.
