El Passo Falzarego conecta en Italia el Val Livinalongo con el Val Boite, donde se encuentra Cortina d'Ampezzo. El paso también forma parte de la carretera de los Dolomitas junto con el Passo Costalunga y el Passo Pordoi.
La ruta desde el oeste comienza en la estación de esquí de Arabba, donde también comienza el camino hacia el Passo Campolongo. La carretera que atraviesa el Val Livinalongo es buena y alterna entre praderas y bosques. Tras una ligera bajada, la carretera vuelve a ascender en el pequeño pueblo de Cernadoi. La carretera sube por el paisaje virgen con curvas cerradas. Los últimos kilómetros suben con curvas cortas, de las cuales una se encuentra en un túnel.
