El Sudario de Turín —también conocido como la Síndone, la Sábana Santa o el Santo Sudario— es una tela de lino que muestra la imagen de un hombre que presenta marcas y traumas físicos propios de una crucifixión.[1] El sudario mide 436 cm × 113 cm. Se custodia en Turín, en la capilla de la Sábana Santa —construida expresamente para ese fin a finales del siglo XVII , durante el reinado de Carlos Manuel I de Saboya, duque de Saboya—, una obra maestra del barroco italiano finalizada por Guarino Guarini que se encuentra dentro de un complejo de edificios que incluye la catedral, el palacio Real y el palazzo Chiablese.
