La abadía de Chiaravalle, también conocida como Sanctae Mariae Claraevallis Mediolanensis o Santa María de Roveniano, es un complejo monástico cisterciense situado en el Parque Agricolo Sud en el municipio de Milán, entre los barrios de Vigentino y Rogoredo. Fue construida hacia 1135 por Bernardo de Claraval[3] como filiación de la abadía de Citeaux. A su alrededor se desarrolló un burgo agrícola,[4] que fue anexionado al municipio de Milán en 1923.
