Troine es un núcleo del municipio de Wincrange, situado en el distrito de Diekirch del cantón de Clervaux. Se encuentra a aproximadamente 53 km de la ciudad de Luxemburgo. Troine se menciona por primera vez en el año 840 en la forma de Trodana. Antes del 1 de enero de 1978, Troine formaba parte del antiguo municipio de Boevange.
