El cabo Espartel es un cabo localizado en la costa atlántica de África, en el norte de Marruecos, a pocos kilómetros de Tánger. En el peñón que allí se ubica , existe un faro cuya luz es visible a 23 millas náuticas. Hacia el sur, el terreno desciende rápidamente, dando lugar a una llanura . Antiguamente, este cabo era conocido con el nombre de Cabo Ampelusia. Este punto es uno de los límites en tierra del estrecho de Gibraltar. Cabo Espartel es accesible por carretera.
