Ter Aar ) es un lugar en el municipio de Nieuwkoop en la provincia holandesa de Zuid-Holland. La antigua aldea de Aardam se encontraba donde ahora está Ter Aar.
Hasta el 1 de enero de 2007, Ter Aar era un municipio independiente, desde 2007 Ter Aar se ha fusionado con Liemeer y Nieuwkoop bajo el nombre de Nieuwkoop.
