Hoogmade es una aldea en el municipio neerlandés de Kaag y Braassem, provincia de Holanda del Sur, con aproximadamente 1700 habitantes. La aldea se encuentra al este de Leiden y al noroeste de Alphen aan den Rijn, junto al río Does. Al este de Hoogmade se encuentra la Wijde Aa. Hoogmade se menciona por primera vez en fuentes escritas en el siglo XIII cuando se concede a Dirk van Poelgeest. La segunda parte del nombre -made significa pradera de heno.
