Haelen) es una aldea en la provincia holandesa de Limburgo. Desde 2007 forma parte del municipio de Leudal. Antes pertenecía al municipio homónimo de Haelen. Tiene aproximadamente 4.395 habitantes. En el pueblo se habla un dialecto limburgués, el 'Haeles'. Los alrededores del pueblo han estado habitados desde la Edad de Piedra. Esto se ha determinado a partir de hallazgos arqueológicos. La razón de este temprano asentamiento es que Haelen está cerca de las tierras arenosas altas junto al Leudal.
