Neer es una aldea en el Limburg del Medio en los Países Bajos. Forma parte del municipio de Leudal. Antes de la reorganización municipal de 2007, pertenecía al entonces municipio de Roggel y Neer. El pueblo se encuentra junto al Mosa, entre Roermond y Venlo.
En la época romana, a lo largo de la calzada Maastricht-Nimega, surgió el primer asentamiento permanente. La intersección de esta calzada con el Neerbeek, que en aquel entonces era un río, aún es visible en el paisaje. El pueblo mismo surgió en la temprana Edad Media.
