Elsloo es una aldea que consta de alrededor de 600 habitantes en el municipio de Ooststellingwerf en el este de Frisia, en los Países Bajos. La aldea fue mencionada por primera vez en 1002 como Elisla. La etimología no está clara. Elsloo se desarrolló como una aldea de carretera. El monasterio Lux Mundi solía estar cerca de Elsloo. Fue destruido en el siglo XVI y su ubicación exacta es desconocida. La iglesia Reformada Holandesa data de 1913 y es un reemplazo de una anterior de 1632. En 1987, se añadió un campanario doble a la iglesia. En 1840, tenía 239 habitantes.
