Witteveen es una aldea en el municipio de Midden-Drenthe, en la provincia holandesa de Drenthe. Witteveen es una aldea de desmonte, que surgió en 1926 como un proyecto de creación de empleo en el Balingerveld. Por lo tanto, es la aldea más joven de Drenthe.
La zona del pueblo consiste en áreas agrícolas y un bosque de coníferas de 165 hectáreas que limita con el pueblo por el lado este. Al norte del pueblo pasa la N381, que aquí no tiene salida.
