Heukelum es una pequeña ciudad en el municipio de West Betuwe en la provincia de Gelderland, Países Bajos, y un antiguo municipio de Holanda Meridional. Se encuentra situada en la orilla sur del río Linge y cuenta con 2.280 habitantes, de los cuales 600 están en el núcleo antiguo. Heukelum es conocida por el castillo Merckenburg que data de principios del siglo XVI. Heukelum se encuentra en la Tielerwaard, que es la parte más occidental de Gelderland, entre el río Linge y el río Waal. Heukelum es un asentamiento más antiguo que Asperen.
