Lobith es una aldea en el municipio de Zevenaar en la provincia holandesa de Gelderland. Está situada en la frontera con Alemania y cerca del Rin.
Lobith ya fue mencionada a principios del siglo XIII como un punto de aduana de los condes de Geldern. En un documento de marzo de 1222, el emperador Federico II autoriza al conde Gerardo de Geldern a trasladar la aduana del Rin de Arnhem a Lobith. Dado que el arzobispo de Colonia se oponía a este traslado, el emperador reafirmó la autorización en otro documento en marzo del mismo año. Posteriormente, el arzobispo Engelbert I de Colonia también confirmó por escrito su consentimiento para este traslado a Lobith. Lobith también fue importante más tarde debido al despacho en la frontera de la navegación por el Rin.
