Ottersum es una aldea y parte de Gennep en la provincia holandesa de Limburgo. Se disolvió como municipio independiente el 1 de enero de 1973. En ese momento, el municipio de Ottersum tenía 2.701 hectáreas y 5.157 habitantes. El 1 de enero de 2021, el pueblo tenía 2.035 habitantes. Se encuentra ubicado en la N291 y el río Niers. En el tercer día de la Cuatrimestral de Nijmegen, los corredores de 50 km pasan por el núcleo de Ottersum.
