Wijdenes es una aldea en el municipio de Drechterland, situada entre Hoorn y Enkhuizen en la dársena de Markermeer, en la provincia neerlandesa de Holanda del Norte. Hasta 1970, Wijdenes, junto con Oosterleek y Schellinkhout, era un municipio independiente. Desde entonces, forma parte del municipio de Venhuizen, junto con Hem, Oosterleek y Schellinkhout. La localidad incluye la antigua aldea de Wijmers, la relativamente nueva aldea de Kraaienburg y las antiguas aldeas de Twuiver y de Molentjes. El pueblo cuenta con 1.390 habitantes.
