Handel es una aldea en la provincia de Brabant Septentrional. Pertenece al municipio de Gemert-Bakel. El 1 de enero de 2021, la población de Handel era de 1.815. Se presume que la historia de Handel se remonta a los primeros años de la presencia de la Orden Teutónica, que poseía aquí la granja Haenle. Esta probablemente pertenecía a la herencia de Rutger de Gemert y data del comienzo del siglo XIII. La granja, que fue construida en forma de cuadrado, fue demolida en 1965. Se presume que este fue el primer asiento de la Comandancia, antes de que se trasladara a Gemert.
