Wolvega es la ciudad más grande del municipio de Weststellingwerf en la provincia de Frisia, en los Países Bajos. Tenía una población de alrededor de 13,090 en 2021. Wolvega es la capital y la ciudad más grande del municipio. El pueblo fue mencionado por primera vez en 1218 y significa "asentamiento de lobo". La iglesia reformada holandesa fue construida en 1646 utilizando material de su predecesora medieval. La torre fue reconstruida después de un incendio en 1894.
