Vollenhove ) es una pequeña ciudad en el noroeste de la provincia neerlandesa de Overijssel, que desde el 1 de enero de 2001 forma parte del municipio de Steenwijkerland. Vollenhove es, después de Steenwijk, el lugar más grande de este municipio. Vollenhove tiene 4.295 habitantes. Vollenhove está rodeada por el Ambt Vollenhove. Localmente, esto también se conoce como la Tierra de Vollenhove. Aquí forman parte los pueblos y aldeas de Sint Jansklooster, Barsbeek, Heetveld, Kadoelen, De Krieger y Moespot. Vollenhove se llama ciudad porque en la Edad Media tenía derechos de ciudad. En 2004 se celebró que hacía 650 años que estos fueron concedidos.
