Hoornsterzwaag es una aldea en el municipio de Heerenveen, en la provincia neerlandesa de Frisia. Se encuentra al sur de Drachten y al oeste de la aldea de Donkerbroek, en la Schoterlandseweg. En 2021, la aldea contaba con 810 habitantes. También forma parte de la aldea un trozo de la aldea Welgelegen. Hoornsterzwaag colabora en muchos campos con la cercana aldea de Jubbega. Así, las aldeas tienen una asociación de Interés Local Jubbega - Hoornsterzwaag, que se fundó en 1900. Juntas también son conocidas como una aldea gemela.
