Damwâld es una aldea en el municipio de Dantumadiel de Frisia, en los Países Bajos. En 2020 tenía 5630 ciudadanos. Este número de ciudadanos hace de Damwâld la aldea más grande del municipio de Dantumadiel. La actual aldea de Damwâld es un lugar fusionado de tres aldeas más antiguas, fusionadas en 1971. Las tres aldeas eran; Dantumawoude, Akkerwoude y Murmerwoude. Pero fue en el siglo XIX cuando las aldeas comenzaron a crecer realmente juntas. A partir de la segunda mitad de ese siglo, los edificios se densificaron considerablemente y en 1880 a lo largo de la Murmerlaan se abrió la primera línea de tranvía de Frisia, una línea de tranvía de caballos.
