Desde el este, la subida al Grebbeberg tiene solo 600 metros de longitud. Los primeros 200 metros de la Grebbeweg suben más del 7% y luego siguen otros 300 metros del 5%. En total se superan 37 metros de altura. A pesar de la longitud, ¡es un verdadero desafío para las pantorrillas!
El Grebbeberg en Rhenen es una colina de 52 metros de altura que forma el punto sureste de la Utrechtse Heuvelrug, una morrena. Debido a su ubicación estratégica con vistas al Nederrijn y la Betuwe, esta colina tiene una gran importancia histórica. En el siglo XVIII, se construyó desde aquí la Grebbelinie. La colina es especialmente conocida por la Batalla del Grebbeberg en mayo de 1940. En el Grebbeberg se encuentra el Cementerio Militar Grebbeberg donde yacen enterrados soldados neerlandeses de la Batalla del Grebbeberg.
