Surge al suroeste de la aldea de Reusel, en el elevado Macizo de Brabante, y fluye a través de la Hacienda de Utrecht y luego pasa por Baarschot y Diessen bajo el canal Wilhelmina hacia Moergestel, después de lo cual se convierte justo al sur de Oisterwijk en el Río Trasero. Los arroyos que desembocan en el Reusel son el Belevensche Loop, el Hoevensche Loopje, el Rouwenbochtloop, el Raamsloop y el Spruitenstroompje.
