El Epermolen se encuentra en el valle del Geul, al pie de dos colinas. En la colina occidental se encuentra el pueblo de Epen y en la oriental la aldea de Camerig. Alrededor de 1900, el Epermolen, también conocido como Wingbergermolen, era un encantador molino de pueblo con dos pares de piedras, construido de ladrillo con un techo a dos aguas de tejas. Se ubica en la orilla izquierda del Geul y en esa época tenía una rueda de agua de madera en un eje de madera, que colgaba a lo largo de la fachada.
