Borkel y Schaft es un antiguo municipio de Kempen en la provincia neerlandesa de Brabante Septentrional, que forma parte de Valkenswaard. También se escribe como Borkel & Schaft. El pueblo de Borkel tenía en 2007 575 habitantes, y el pueblo de Schaft contaba entonces con 166. El municipio de Borkel y Schaft, que se formó en 1810 tras la separación del municipio de Bergeyk, estaba compuesto por varios núcleos: los pueblos de Borkel y Schaft, las aldeas de Achterste Brug y Voorste Brug y los barrios De Kapel, De Straot, De Hoek, Heuvel, Klein Borkel, 't Poterseind y Klein Schaft. En estos pequeños núcleos vivían en 2007 un total de 368 personas.
