Un elemento muy hermoso de la historia de las líneas de tranvía es el puente de tranvía en Hengstdijk. Este puente de concreto está ubicado en el trazado de la antigua línea de tranvía Drieschouwen–Walsoorden, que seguía en gran medida caminos y trazados de diques existentes. Sin embargo, entre el pequeño asentamiento de Vogelfort y la granja de la Vieja Marina se ha construido un trazado de tranvía completamente nuevo; aquí, en 1915, se construyeron un nuevo dique y un nuevo puente sobre la Vieja Marina para el tranvía.
