El puente del Bósforo o puente Bosphorus es un puente colgante que une la parte asiática con la parte europea de la ciudad de Estambul, Turquía, atravesando el canal del mismo nombre. Tiene una longitud de 1074 metros y posee seis carriles .[1]
Sin embargo, éste no es el puente colgante más largo de Estambul. El puente de Fatih Sultan Mehmet fue terminado en 1988, posee una longitud 1090 metros y se encuentra casi a cinco kilómetros al norte del primer puente.
Durante las horas pico de la ciudad, estos dos puentes sufren grandes atascos de tráfico. Además, los dos puentes tienen estipulado un peaje de paso que se cobra solo cuando se pasa desde la parte europea a la asiática. Este cobro de peaje hace aún más importantes los atascos que se forman.
