Skadovsk es una ciudad portuaria del óblast de Jerson, en el sur de Ucrania, y el centro administrativo del raión de Skadovsk. Está situada a orillas del mar Negro, 62km al sur de Jersón. Su población en 2007 se levaba a 19.216 habitantes. Se trata además de una estación balnearia.
El territorio de la ciudad actual está habitado desde la Edad del Bronce, según testimionian los restos arqueológicos de los Kurganes. Las huellas arqueológicas hablan también de la presencia de habitaje escita y sármata. En la Edad Media, el territorio perteneció durante largo tiempo al Janato de Crimea, vasallo del Imperio otomano. En esta época existía cerca del emplazamineto de la ciudad actual una colonia de pescadores tártaros, llamada Ali-Ahok .
